A Near Miss for Helen and Charlotte!

Great Britain’s women’s wheelchair Basketball Team came fourth at the Rio Paralympic Games in 2016, after losing 76-34 in the Bronze medal match to the Netherlands.

Get Kids Going! has supported the women’s Basketball Team by providing Sports wheelchairs to some of the team players when they were younger, e.g. Helen Freeman and Charlotte Moore.

The GB team won four out of seven tournaments during the Rio Games, and now aim to trump their Rio 2016 Performance at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2020.
