SITTING VOLLEYBALL – SAM SCOTT
Team GB opened their campaign in the men’s sitting volleyball with a defeat to Egypt at the Excel arena on Friday evening. The Egyptians were heavily fancied to beat the Great Britain team and in the end they proved too strong, winning in three straight sets 25-15, 25-19, 25-22. Sam Scott, supported by Get Kids Going! came on as a substitute in the third game, but, along with his team mates, suffered a defeat in the first group game of the tournament.

At the Excel arena Sam’s participation in the sitting volley ball tournament came to an end when Team GB were beaten 3-0 in the Quarter finals by the men from Egypt. Sam played a vital role for GB, however, along with his teammates he was unable to progress further in the competition.
